Samsung Galaxy S3 – The Future of Smartphone Market

The dust hasn’t yet settled on the Samsung Galaxy S2 and there is already talk and rumors about the possible release of Samsung Galaxy S3 by the end of February. Given the success of Samsung Galaxy S2 in the years 2011 and after the company published a press release of the impressive sales figures posted globally in the last year, you can only expect one thing, a follow-up in the name of Samsung Galaxy S3.

In spite of the rumor mill surrounding the imminent release of Samsung Galaxy S3, the company is yet to issue an official statement. However, the jigsaw pieces are falling in place one by one. The Android powered phone processor changes are clear for everyone to see. Samsung announced numerous modern Exynos cores towards the end of 2011 that will be used to drive the contemporary Samsung Galaxy S3.

Galaxy SIII is also another name that is commonly being used to denote the Samsung Galaxy S3. It is the first smartphone in the market that is expected to be driven by a quad-core processor. This means that, most of the tasks that you do in your PC can comfortably be accommodated by the phone. If you are a business executive that is constantly on the move, you do not need to carry your phone as well as laptop. You can accomplish virtually everything using this phone.

What is new in the Samsung Galaxy S3?

Since this Android powered phone will be driven by a quad-core processor, it is expected that the phone will showcase a 3D capability. According to the rumor mill, there are likelihoods that there will be two models of Samsung Galaxy S3 with 3D features. These are:

-        A typical HD model.

-        An augmented 3D model.

Should a 3D supported smartphone be launched in the market, it will incorporate dual cameras in the rear. This is to enable the phone to record 3D data. The memory capacity is also expected to double. However, it remains to be seen if the 3D feature will alter the smartphone market. But, the million dollar question is, “Will the battery be able to hold enough charge needed to power some of the new features, for example, quad-core processor.

When is the likely release date for Samsung Galaxy S3?

If the rumors are true, then the Samsung Galaxy S3 is most likely to be released in the first quarter of 2012.
